In front of the sea, more than fifty years of commitment behind. In the 1970s, when disability often meant isolation, a group of volunteers in Lignano Sabbiadoro built an accessible village: a place where a vacation became possible for everyone, without barriers, experienced together and not separately. Thus, DUM was born – Dinsi Une Man, "let's give each other a hand" in Friulian – a community where everyone participates according to their abilities, in an atmosphere of sharing and mutual respect.
