Nel carcere di massima sicurezza di Opera, a Milano, tre detenuti responsabili di omicidi, Ciro, Giuseppe e Cristiano, sono stati scelti per produrre artigianalmente, con le loro mani un tempo sporche di sangue, ostie che vengono consacrate nelle chiese di tutto il mondo, divenendo così il corpo di Cristo. Il loro sogno è consegnarle di persona nelle mani benedette del Santo Padre Papa Francesco, al quale scrivono una lettera.

In the maximum-security prison of Opera, in Milan, three inmates convicted of murder — Ciro, Giuseppe, and Cristiano — have been chosen to handcraft, with the same hands once stained with blood, the communion wafers that are consecrated in churches all over the world, becoming the Body of Christ. Their dream is to personally deliver them into the blessed hands of Pope Francis, to whom they write a letter.
