Frutto di un laboratorio di scrittura creativa e recitazione, questo documentario, ambientato totalmente in carcere, racconta di un pugno di esseri umani costretti a lavorare in cattività, ma resi totalmente liberi dalla magia dell’incontro e della scoperta reciproca. Una libertà che ha creato vicinanza e comunanza ma anche scontri e incomprensioni. E di tutto questo si fa testimonianza questo videodiario, senza omettere praticamente nulla di quanto accaduto durante i tanti e lunghi mesi del percorso, compreso un evento tragico occorso a uno di loro, che ha fatto inevitabilmente deviare il corso del progetto stesso. Progetto che nasce dalla consapevolezza dell'esistenza dell’Articolo 27, comma 3 della Costituzione Italiana che recita ‘Le pene non possono consistere in trattamenti contrari al senso di umanità e devono tendere alla rieducazione del condannato’.

As the result of a creative writing and acting workshop, this documentary, set entirely in prison, tells of a handful of human beings forced to work in captivity, but made totally free by the magic of meeting and mutual discovery. A freedom that has created closeness and community but also clashes and misunderstandings. And this video diary witnesses to all this, without omitting nothing of what happened during the many long months of the process, including a tragic event that occurred to one of them, which inevitably caused the course of the project itself to deviate. Project born from the awareness of the existence of Article 27, paragraph 3 of the Italian Constitution which states 'Punishments cannot consist of treatments contrary to the sense of humanity and must aim at the re-education of the convicted person'.
